H.E Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, Former Prime Minister of Sudan and Alt. Chair of the Board of Directors of Coalition for Dialogue on Africa (CoDA), opened the Third African Monetary & Economic Sovereignty Conference, 9 - 11 October 2024, Africa Union Conference Center, Addis Ababa, with a statement that covered wide-ranging issues, from the historical anomalies of global economic structures to Africa’s options in the multipolar world. In the Conference organized by CoDA and the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs), HE Dr. Abdalla Hamdok also exchanged views with economic experts and media personnel on the future of regional integration efforts, reforming the global financial architecture and ensuring a just energy transition.
